New App Lets you Use almost any media / MP3 Player with Apple iTunes - Jobs undoubtedly firing up the legal team

You know, I was just thinking about the MP3 players that I currently own and I was thinking that even though competitors have come up with pretty good competing products, I love iTunes so much that I must purchase another iPod when it's time to get a new one.

Well, not so fast.... Maybe this is the solution.

UPDATE: OK, I'm only a year late on this one....

Wondering Where I've Been? I Got My XBOX 360 Elite! WooHoo!

Black Box Goodness!

I stumbled on the much sought-after XBOX 360 Elite. At Meijer's of all Places! On 15% off when you use your credit card day! WooHoo!

Yes, it's black. Who cares. (OK, I like it.)
Sure, 120GB hard drive. Nice.
HDMI. Yep.

Too bad I've had Gears of War sitting on a shelf for 4 months. It went in and my days and nights have been filled with fraggin goodness ever since.

For those of you hoping it would be quieter I have some bad news. It's freakin loud! Loud optical drive. Loud fan. Loud, loud, loud. That needs work for sure. Hear that Microsoft? No? Oh, right, let me turn off my 360. That's better.

Back to fraggin.

Need Proof that Money is Falling from the Sky in The Middle East? We Give you the Burj Dubai

Right, so we're all pretty pissed off about $3.50 a gallon gas, right? Well, that's partly the fault of an aging refinery system here in the U.S., but $60+/barrel oil doesn't help matters. (Thanks for voting a Texas oil man into office you other 50%....)

Clearly Big Oil is benefiting, and we must assume that the Oil Barrons of the Middle East are rolling is more cash than they know what to do with.

Ok, so maybe they do know what to do with it.

How about the biggest/tallest tower building ever constructed? The tallest freestanding structure on the planet? Rumored to be approximately half a mile! tall when construction is completed. (They keep bumping up the height, in competition with another tower - see below.)

I give you the Burj Dubai.

And just so you don't think this is a coincidence, about 50 miles away, they're throwing another ocean full of money at a building that is in competition for title of the tallest:

Maybe someday we'll all feel comfortable about travelling there again, and I'll actually see these monsters for myself.
